A Children's Book About Death as a Transformation
Where Did My Friend Go?
“Where Did My Friend Go? A Children’s Book About Death as a Transformation” celebrates love and life energy that continues after death. The message of this story is that death is not an ending: we are all connected, all the time. This unique children’s book shares an uplifting perspective on the passing of a loved one.
It declares that rather than an ending death is a transition full of possibilities and everlasting omnipresent love. The positivity of the message combines with vibrant, exotic, and tropical artwork to create an inspiring and soothing experience for children and adults. The worksheet at the end of the book guides parents or caregivers in discussing death with children. The artistic exercises help comfort the child through the transition of death.

CHILDREN'S BOOKS
The Adventure's of Roo: Las Aventuras de Roo
The Adventure's of Roo is story about a wonderful and mischievous dog's search for joy and adventure. At what may be the end of her journey she finds that joy and love were with her all along. The book came about as a creative English lesson for students in the author's volunteer English class at the Matanchen Bay
Cultural Center in Aticama, Nayarit, Mexico.
The student's contributions to the book were an exercise to support their creativity, self-esteem, and self love. It is the author's wish that the worksheet at the end will support your child or any child you love as well. All of the author's proceeds will go to the Matanchen Bay Cultural Centers Scholarship Fund.
Thank you for your support!

BIO
As a Southern California native, I have enjoyed a surfing and beach lifestyle all of my life. I graduated from UC San Diego in 2007 with a BA in Linguistics. In 2009, I became an ESL instructor.
In 2011 I was injured working as an ocean lifeguard and this led to a huge personal transformation, an initiation into the healing arts, and a relocation to Nayarit, Mexico. Through my own healing process I learned that there are physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of healing and well-being and that our natural state of existence is good health.
I became fascinated in the healing process and I became a Holistic Health Practitioner, Therapeutic Art Life Coach, Clinical Hypnotherapist, and holistic retreat leader. I take a integrative approach to helping people regain their balance, feel better, and enjoy their lives.
I began writing children’s books through a creative writing exercise I designed for students in my English class at the Cultural Center in Aticama, Nayarit, Mexico. Through the learning exercise the students answers and illustrations contributed to “The Adventures of Roo,” our book that fosters self-love and donates its proceeds to the Matanchen Bay Cultural Center Scholarship Program.Through this experience I realized that I love to write children’s books that help children heal and create positive consciousness growth and change in our world.
I am writing a series of children’s books about empowering self-esteem, self-love, self-confidence, and understanding of our connection to the earth and each other.
